Already a great value, we further discount the wines over 10%, it's great to have extra bottles of these house wines on hand for when company drops by.

2008 JovenAcon$15.25
Acon is a modern winery in the Ribera Del Deuro of Spain. Though wine making dates back over 2000 years, the area is seeing a surge of new wineries built and undergoing a bit of a renaissance. The Joven is made with 100% Tinto Fino, the local clone of the Spanish classic grape Tempranillo. The bright aromas of cherry are also the main theme of the palate, the wine finishes with friendly smooth tannins and a hint of cola.

2005 Jago Ripasso Valpolicella Villa Spinosa$19.95
Named for the vineyard in the Negar commune of Valpolicella this Ripasso has a become quite complex and aged very gracefully in the 5 years from vintage. The once powerful espresso and cocoa aromas have become supporting characters in a drama of vanilla and raisin notes. The precise palate adds cedar and clove to the raisin experience, all of which culminate in a long smooth finish.

2008 VerdelhoMoondah Brook$15.95
The Moondah Brook winery is located in Western Australia, a bit of the beaten path. W.A. produces less than 5% of Australian wine, so just getting this gem out of the country is a victory! The Verdelho grape, originally from Portugal has found a second home in Australia. The wine has fragrant, lime dominated, citrus aromas that definitely suggest drinking outdoors! Tropical palate of Guava and Passion fruit finishes clean but not too acidic.

2008 ChablisDomaine Bernard Defaix$19.95
2008 in the Northernmost Burgundy region of Chablis was greatly influenced by an extremely warm September. The grapes achieved a ripeness not seen in years, and while the wines are classically flinty they are more flush and fruit centered. Ripe lemon aromas and flavours are the key notes with great support from wet stones and a crisp finish.
